Technology programs, delivered free.

Three programs that extend Palanca's reach into neighborhoods where technology access is scarcest. Run in partnership with libraries, community centers, churches, and recovery organizations. Funded by paid-work margins and sponsors.

Robotics & Maker Stations
Hands-on robotics, 3D printing, and maker equipment installed at libraries and community centers. Age-appropriate kits, a 3D printer, basic electronics, plus a trained facilitator. Kids drop in, build things, and take home what they make.
Ages 8–16
Ongoing at host sites
Beignet Bytes
A four-to-eight-week coding bootcamp for kids. Project-based learning — by cohort end, every kid has built something to demonstrate: a website, a game, a data visualization, or a simple automation. Named for the small, warm, generous thing that makes the morning better.
Ages 10–16
4–8 week cohorts
Adult Digital Literacy
Evening and weekend workshop series for adults in career transition, re-entry, or recovery. Practical skills for employment and daily life: email, spreadsheets, online applications, personal cybersecurity, and an introduction to AI tools for work.
Adults
2–4 week series

How it works

Two halves of one business.

Paid consulting work delivers fixed-scope engagements to nonprofits and small businesses. The margins fund community programs at libraries and community centers. Corporate and foundation sponsors close the remaining gap. This structure means programs don't depend entirely on grants, and sponsor dollars go directly to equipment, facilitation, materials, and the specific kids and adults being served.

Who hosts

Libraries, community centers, churches, and mission-aligned nonprofits.

Priority goes to host sites serving communities across the Greater New Orleans metro area where technology access is scarcest. Adult-program partnerships are pursued with established workforce development organizations, community service providers, and other mission-aligned institutions.
